Wachovia Caters to the Hispanic Community

Wachovia will be the first major bank to offer bank statements in Spanish for all of its deposit accounts, reports the Charlotte Business Journal. This offering is additive to bundled product offering, Cuenta con Todo, designed exclusively for Hispanic customers.

A couple of weeks ago we visited with a couple of senior executives for Wachovia here in Georgia. They told us that 25% of their roughly 250 branches in Atlanta have Spanish speaking personnel.

That tells you something about Wachovia. It also tells you something about Atlanta, too.
